Ken Scott of Provectus Group shares four rules for safe firearms handling and explains the importance of each.
• Treat ALL firearms as if they were loaded.
• Always keep your firearm pointed in a safe direction.
• Keep your trigger finger outside the guard and off of the trigger until you are ready to fire.
• Be certain of your target, your line of fire, and what lies beyond your target.

Rule 3: Don’t put your finger in the trigger guard until you are up on target and ready to fire.
I didn’t know that one
Thanks this helped me remember all of them and I learned about the target and what’s behind it
ppl just want to talk and they talk too much naturally and that’s why they feel the instructions were displayed too shortly. this is all that needs to be said unless you gon say the same thing over again
Or as the marine corps taught me
Do not put your finger on the trigger unless you intend to kill something.
Do not point your weapon at anything you do not intend to shoot.
