New Shooters Guide to Basic Range Etiquette with Randy Newberg

Randy Newberg is at his range, offering a few helpful tips to new shooters who are intimidated by the complexities of never having been to a shooting range. Many of us take for granted the basic rules of range etiquette, given we have been shooting at ranges all our lives.

The rules of a shooting range is complex for those new to the sport. Lowering the hurdles will hopefully help a few new people gain comfort with shooting and become regulars to the sport.

This short video is directed toward new shooters. More shooters at our ranges is good for all of us.

  1. Great advice Randy. Never be too careful when it come to firearms, practice, practice and more practice. Always find that loose “fellow” around though eh, you gotta keep an eye on him and keep outta his way! cheers

  2. Thanks Randy great advice. You’re so lucky to have these long distance ranges out west. I can’t find one that’s more than 175 yards in CT.
